Description
The XeRun AXE 4987 SD R3S is a sensored FOC brushless motor developed for large 1/5 and 1/6 scale crawlers. It provides immediate response and low-end torque for heavy-scale builds.

The motor's 49.5 mm diameter and 87 mm can length allow it to fit into comparatively tight builds. Its power output contributes to improved acceleration and higher efficiency.

The magnetic encoder uses consistent three-phase signals to continuously feed the ESC a rotor-position signal. Paired with the XeRun AXE Plus R3 ESC, the motor offers low-speed behaviour and low-end torque beyond that of a conventional sensored system.

Notes
The IP66 rating protects against splashes, water exposure, and dust under normal use, but is not permanent and declines over time due to ageing. Do not submerge the motor for extended periods, as this may cause damage.
